Sarah Fisher is a percussionist, pianist and facilitator based in North-East England, who advocates for disability inclusion in music. She received support from Arts Council England to tour her own show ‘Twitch’ across the UK in 2018-2019, which combined music and disability with humour. She has Cerebral Palsy and a hyperkinetic movement disorder which affects her left side and her speech, and she is a regular presenter and keynote speaker at various annual conferences, talking about community music, disability and inclusion.
Winnie is a singer, guitarist and producer from South London. She has headlined shows at Ronnie Scott’s and Belmont Villa and has played at Jazz Cafe and Pizza Express Soho as a session guitarist. She recently featured in the Spring 2022 edition of Guitar Girl magazine, talking about what it means to be a Black woman in music. She is one of three curators of London’s Peng Femme Jam, a jam session which creates community for women and non-binary people in music.
Kayla Amor is a singer-songwriter from North London who recently returned to music after a two-year hiatus. Just last month, she released her debut EP ‘Strong Enough’, which talks about her experience of domestic abuse. She works with charity and label Key Changes, which supports musicians and artists with mental health problems. Kayla wishes to spread more awareness about mental health issues in the music indutsry and is passionate about showing strength through vulnerability. Her upcoming projects pay homage to her first loves of house and garage, with jungle and reggae influences.
Jessica Wilde is a Brixton-based singer-songwriter who fuses rap and spoken word into her raw and honest songs. Having become sober and beaten Covid-19, she’s started a new chapter as an LGBTQ+ artist and shares her stories in each of her tracks. Jessica also appears as her feisty, pink-haired, alter-ego Charlene, the creator of P*ssY PWR’ playlists and IG Live events, which feature guest appearances from some of the best upcoming women on the scene.
Tommy Khosla is a Sitar specialist, composer and teacher. His recent debut album, Vignettes, is a series of small windows into the life, history and identity of its creator. It is an exploration on the themes of mixed heritage (Khosla has roots in India, France and the UK) and neurodiversity. It is an intensely personal approach to music making, inspired by Khosla’s grandparents’ slideshows of their travels in North India, and littered with frequent snippets of family reminiscences and field recordings.
Cristina Hart is a quadrilingual singer-songwriter who makes existential pop music. Born in Switzerland and living in the UK, she moved from her hometown Geneva to London to pursue the career in music she always dreamed of. Since then, her collaboration with produce Hilow on their track ‘Fell In Love With You’ has been streamed over 2 million times on Spotify. Her new music is quite different from her debut EP ‘Sell A Dream’, now that she’s lived through a pandemic and the mental health problems that brings.
