Wednesday 19th October

Focusing on Black British history and literature, S.I. Martin works with museums, archives and the education sector to bring diverse histories to wider audiences. He has published six books of historical fiction and non-fiction for adult and teenage readers.

We’re very happy to welcome S.I. Martin as our next guest speaker!

Date: Wednesday 19 October

Time: 7pm – 9pm, followed by drinks at a nearby pub

Venue: Old Diorama Arts Centre

Doors open at 6.30pm and we’ll begin at 7.00pm

Before the talk we’ll be there to mingle and enjoy refreshments from our charity snack bar. All profits from the snack bar will be donated to Black Minds Matter – a charity connecting Black individuals and families with free mental health services- by professional Black therapists to support their mental health.

Our speaker events are free, but we kindly ask for a £3 contribution per head. This helps towards the hire of the venue and equipment.
