Black Care 23: Black Care Poetry Club with Headliner Lemn Sissay

Join us for an incredible evening of powerful spoken word and captivating poetry at the Black Care Poetry Club featuring the renowned poet and Black care leaver Lemn Sissay.

 

Get ready to be inspired and moved by an evening of extraordinary talent. We have an inspiring lineup with performances from John Bernard, Carol Leeming MBE and Ty’rone Haughton.

Come along and celebrate Black History Month with a transformative evening of poetry from these captivating performers.

This event will take place at De Montfort University as a part of their Black History Month programme and with support from the Stephen Lawrence Research Centre.
