Masterclass With Marlon Simms

Wednesday 1 May

The National Dance Theatre Company (NDTC) of Jamaica blends the lore, music and dance traditions of Jamaica, Africa and the American South with both modern and classical ballet forms.

The company has established a distinctive style of Caribbean dance theatre and a training system. This masterclass will give an introduction to techniques that faithfully reflect Caribbean movement patterns and underpin the company’s ethos of creating works of excellence rooted on Jamaican and cultural realities.
