Black History Month Scratch Night

Friday 3 October

Celebrate Black History Month with a vibrant and dynamic Scratch Night showcasing bold, fresh work from local Global Majority artists. This special evening presents a range of artforms, from theatre and spoken word to music and movement, offering a glimpse into exciting new creative ideas still in development.

The event provides a unique opportunity to experience the energy and talent of emerging artists from the region, sharing their voices, stories and perspectives in an open and supportive space. It’s an evening rooted in experimentation, connection and celebration.

With a focus on work in progress, this Scratch Night is about the process as much as the performance. Audiences will witness ideas taking shape and be part of a creative exchange that champions risk-taking and fresh expression.

Places are free but limited, so advance booking is strongly recommended to avoid disappointment.

Running time is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Expect an inspiring and uplifting evening full of originality and talent.
