One Love – Bob Marley

17th February to 17th April 2017

Jamaica, Jamaica

It was Bob Marley’s childhood in the country, in St Ann parish, as much as his formative years in Trench Town, Kingston, that gave him the inner strength that propelled him to international success. He learned early the lesson that things take time to grow.
This collection of images from the 1970s to the present day illustrates just some of the many aspects of the urban and rural landscapes and culture that inspired him. Two very different worlds, both quintessentially Jamaican, that contributed to the making of the man and his music.
