Upswing Falling Together R&D: Community Circus Workshop

Wednesday 1th June

Contemporary circus pioneers Upswing give us a preview of their work-in-progress, Falling Together. This new circus production playfully explores themes of connection and identity and the problems and possibilities of being melanin-rich in a Black and White world. Devised with a dynamic cast of Upswing associate artists, Falling Together is directed by Victoria Dela Amedume, collaborating with rising comedy star Athena Kugblenu.

Developed in partnership with Brixton House and Bernie Grant Arts Centre, and presented as part of our Summer Events Circus Family Day in Brockwell Park, Upswing will also offer free intergenerational community circus workshop sessions as part of this creative process.
