Damu The Fudgemunk & Raw Poetic

Saturday 1st April

Legendary hip-hop beats, impeccable flow and lyrical genius; all to be expected when Damu The Fudgemunk and Raw Poetic Collide.

Damu The Fudgemunk’s ears were gripped by the perpetual, rhythmic motion of kicks and snares at the height of the Boom-Bap era, inspiring the son of classically trained musicians to begin his own self-taught quest into music. Now, Damu is a modern day Hip-Hop renaissance man; DJ, producer, MC, and multi-instrumentalist whose progressive music stands on the shoulders of greats.

Raw Poetic specialises in cohesive, smile-inducing productions whose lyrical delivery is marvelled globally. Regular collaborator with Damu, they are one of the most cohesive hip-hop duos in todays touring circuit.

Their most recent collaborative album, Laminated Skies, explores progressive hip-hop sounds whilst incorporating the flow and style which they are so famed for.

They will be joined by Patick Fritz, a classically trained classical guitarist with roots in hip-hop, blues, and jazz.
