This National Windrush Day, step into the vibrant world of the Caribbean right here in Devon at our Library Lates: Windrush event! Join us on the 22nd of June from 6 pm to 9:30 pm as we celebrate the rich tapestry of culture and heritage brought by the Windrush generations, both locally and nationally.


Produced by Devon Development Education, this free cultural takeover of the Library welcomes families and individuals of all ages to immerse themselves in a myriad of activities

Meet the awesome Ros from Martinique who will lead us through some Caribbean dances that also have their roots in African dancing, get those hips ready!

We are so excited to have members of this band coming along to play for us. Formed in the 1950s this band has an incredible & rich history

This mixed heritage community minded DJ has been with us for all the DDE Windrush celebrations so far, and is sure to get us all jumping n grooving!
