Notting Hill and West London has been the site of more than 50 years of resistance to racism. From the race riots of the 1950s, through the story of carnival, via the Mangrove 9 as depicted in Steve McQueen’s BBc series, and to Grenfell in 2017 – the area is synonymous with defiant resistance against racism and the state. Join our radical walking tour to uncover the legacy.
