The Future Of Caribbean Dance L’Antoinette Stines

Regarded as an expert in popular, folkloric Jamaican dance and the development of contemporary dance, L’Antoinette Stines has lectured in Africa, the Caribbean, Europe and America.

 

This roundtable discussion will explore the future of Caribbean dance practice, reflecting on best practice to safeguard a legacy of Caribbean dance practices such as Kumina and Orisha dance, through to the appropriation of Daaance’all.
