Celebrating four decades at the forefront of British jazz, Courtney Pine returns to the stage with A Modern Day Jazz Story 1986–2026, a powerful retrospective performance reflecting on a remarkable career.
From his landmark debut Journey to the Urge Within to the Mercury-nominated Modern Day Jazz Stories and the deeply personal House of Legends, Pine has consistently redefined what it means to be a jazz artist in the UK. Blending the spiritual legacy of jazz with reggae, soul, hip-hop and drum and bass, his music captures the story of a generation finding its voice through sound.
This special live performance brings together key moments from across his catalogue, alongside reimagined and previously unreleased material, delivered with the energy and improvisational brilliance that have defined his career. Both a celebration and a reflection, the show honours the creativity, resilience and community that have shaped Pine’s journey from London’s streets to international stages.
