Dennis Rollins is well-known on the British and international jazz scene and is celebrated for his versatility and muscular approach on that underrated instrument, the trombone. Trombonist of the Year at both the British Jazz Awards, and the Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Awards, as part of Her Majesty the Queen’s Birthday Honours 2018, Dennis was honoured with an MBE for services to music.

Tony Kofi won the Best Instrumentalist Award at the 2008 BBC Jazz Awards, Best Ensemble at the 2005 Parliamentary Jazz Awards, Album of the Year at the 2005 BBC Jazz Awards and was nominated for an award MOBO in 2008. He has performed with the World Saxophone Quartet, Clifford Jarvis, Courtney Pine, Donald Byrd, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Eddie Henderson and many others “…arrestingly raw power…” The Guardian

Dennis and Tony will be joined by special guests, Mellow Baku, Marcus Joseph & Daisy Godfrey.

Marcus Joseph is possibly best known for his electrifying performances with AltJazz trio ‘Major Ruse’. Daisy Godfrey and her iconic smoky tones have been causing a stir on the Nottingham music scene and beyond for a few years now.
