WRAP Live! with Musa Okwonga

Tuesday 29 March 2022

In our next WRAP Live! the multi-talented Musa Okwonga joins Dr Becky Cullen for a discussion about his path from an Eton scholarship, Oxford and the Law, to being a Berlin-based writer with a passion for football.

Musa will also be talking about poetry, music, and his fabulous new novel In the End, It Was All About Love. Published by Rough Trade, the book is our WRAP spring title and February’s Notts TV Book Club choice.

They’ll also be talking about Musa’s football blog and podcast Stadio and Striking Out, his book collaboration with Arsenal legend Ian Wright.

Our WRAP members will be sharing writing inspired by Musa’s masterclasses, and there’s a chance for you to ask questions in our Q&A.

Hosted by poet and academic Dr Becky Cullen, join us for a series of midfield runs through Musa’s work and life. You can attend this event in person at Metronome or tune into the livestream from the comfort of your own home.

WRAP is Nottingham Trent University‘s Writing, Reading and Pleasure project, delivered as part Curated & Created – NTU’s arts programme.

WRAP offers a variety of activities for NTU students, including book groups, writing workshops, meet ups and masterclasses, and a public programme of events.
