St Mungo’s LGBTQIA+ History Month 2022 Online: From Greenham Common to Rebel Dykes Art and Archive Show
Atalanta came from an army background and moved to Greenham Common women’s peace camp from nearby Winchester after visiting at 16.
Here she got involved in political action, came out and met a group of women who would go onto be lifelong friends.
Through squatting in Brixton, being involved in many political activities including Stop Clause 28 marches and working as an artist, lecturer, curator and librarian, we come to present day where she has curated a large exhibition called the Rebel Dykes Art and Archive Show, in conjunction with the release of the Rebel Dykes film this year.
