Rising Stars North West CIC (Rising Stars) in partnership with Ebony and Ivory Community Organisation (EaICO) are proud to announce the launch of a research project identifying ‘Black History In Stockport’. It will uncover the undocumented heritage of African, and Caribbean people in Stockport by exploring untold stories, and oral histories, acknowledging and celebrating unsung shero’s and hero’s within the community, and create the first ever ‘Black Heritage’ archive in Stockport.
