Black History Month Open Evening 2018

Thu, May 17, 2018 6:00 PM – 8:00

Tower Hamlets Council’s Arts, Parks and Events Team will once again be helping facilitate a programme of events for Black History Month this October. To this end we will be organising another open evening on May 17th where you can find out about the marketing and funding support on offer, hear from previous participants and other event organisers, and ask any further questions of council officers about how to get involved in 2018.

Further details about this event will be uploaded shortly but please do save the date and reserve your place!

If you would like to be part of this year’s programme, do be aware that all activities must take place within Tower Hamlets. Organisations based elsewhere with a pre-scheduled programme relevant to Black History Month are welcome to arrange offshoot or outreach activities in the borough as a way of making links and reaching out to wider communities.

Our lovely 2017 listings brochure is still available as a reminder of the great and varied programme of events that took place last year and you can download it here – http://www.towerhamletsarts.org.uk/uploads/10364/11443_BHM_S017_Event_Guide_WEB.pdf

If you have any queries or want to join our mailing list for updates about how to get involved in 2018, please email blackhistorymonth@towerhamlets.gov.uk
