Sing with the London House Cats Choir

Sunday 5 December 2021

Do you love singing? Do you love dance music? Well here’s an opportunity for you to have a workshop session with the innovative London House Cats Choir (as seen on Strictly Come Dancing)!

What to expect

London House Cats Choir is a contemporary choir using House Music at its core. Professional voice training is given in every session which will equip participants with tools and techniques to progress their vocal practice and vocal development. They use 3-part harmonies; Soprano, Alto & Tenor and blend this into a contemporary ‘dance music’ sound.

Sessions will be run by London House Cats Choir’s Musical & Project Director, Kayo Anosike. During each session, Kayo provides professional vocal coaching to ensure the growth and engagement of all of her singers. By integrating her music industry skills and people passion, Kayo shares this unique project which is designed to enhance pleasure, confidence, vocal ability and personal growth whilst delivering audience satisfaction.

Sessions are suitable for those with some singing background whether it was back in the school days or through personal pursuits. You will find these sessions both fun and challenging.

By the end of the session the participants will be able to sing one or more songs from start to finish using their learned harmonic parts. Attendees will also get a chance to perform at the London House Cats Choirs Sing-Together on Friday 17 December.

The London House Cats Choir Experience includes…

• Industry standard vocal training including breath control and vocal coaching to strengthen the voice, dynamics and range

• Improvised 3-part harmonics as directed by the choir master.
