The Beat Goes On

Thursday12 October

A vibrant, Black History Month celebration of Black culture through art, fashion and music in the heart of central London.

Join us for an extraordinary four-day exhibit in the heart of London’s Piccadilly Mayfair, the epitome of luxury and culture. Titled “The Beat Goes On…,” this pop-up event, running from October 12th to October 15th, 2023, promises to be a remarkable celebration of Black History Month.

Featuring visionary creatives Caroline Chinakwe, Ade Hassan of Nubian Skin, Samson Soboye, and Donald Baugh, this exhibit offers a distinctive perspective on the fusion of culture, heritage, and innovation. The event not only pays tribute to ancestral legacies but also shines a light on today’s contemporary momentum driven by Black British creatives.

“The Beat Goes On” signifies the resounding rhythm of resilience and progress echoing through the annals of Black History. As we celebrate Black History Month, we honour the legacy of our ancestors while spotlighting the dynamic pulse carried forward by today’s Black British creatives and innovators. Just as the beat of a drum transcends time, these visionary creators fuse tradition with modernity, weaving intricate narratives that bridge past and present.
