A day of family fun to explore archives, make discoveries, share what you find and enjoy creative workshops. The day includes:
10am onwards: View community exhibitions.
11 – 12pm: Find Your London: Explore London maps to find your neighbourhood, school and places you visit.
12 – 1pm: Creative Writing Workshops: Use documents from the archives to inspire your creative writing.
12 – 1pm: Curate a Suitcase Exhibition: View the exhibition for ideas and develop your own personal exhibition.
Afternoon Youth Showcase Presentations
1.30 – 3pm: Invited groups include: LMA After School Club| IntoUniversity students| Know Your Roots| Writing Acting Publishing Project for Youngsters.
Meet youth groups who have worked on projects in the archives. Bring your archive discoveries to share with others. Share your writing, poetry, art and exhibitions.
