Nottingham New Centre seeks media enthusiasts for coal mining research project!

Have you ever wanted to help in a local coal mining heritage project? Want to have a go at TV presenting and interviewing people on camera? If YES, you are invited to take part in Digging Deep: Coal Miners of African Caribbean Heritage, National Narratives from across the UK (HLF project).

Nottingham News Centre, a heritage and media organisation is hosting FREE media training workshops on Thursday 6th July 2017 (14 places available, morning or afternoon session) in Nottingham.

Workshop participants will learn an introduction to: writing for camera (writing piece to camera techniques) , script writing for short video /documentary and writing a short engaging synopsis, using lighting, interviewing and presenting skills.
