For more than 60 years African and Caribbean leaders establised organisations, led innovation in services, acquired buildings and other assets in the UK and providing a ‘home from home’ for newly arrived communities back in the 1960s – an important role that many still play today.
Come and hear about and share your stories of special buildings and community spaces and the pioneering individuals who were, or are still, at the helm of taking their legacy forward.
