Tales From Uganda: Storytelling Workshop

19 October, 4pm (Time to be confirmed).

Tales From Uganda retell traditional Ugandan folktales that have been passed down orally from generation to generation. Folktales are important as they educate us about our history and explain why things are that way, for example why the frog does not have a tail or why chickens do not live in the jungles.

In this family fun event, you will have a chance to listen to a performance of a Ugandan folktale by Taata Musa as well as a chance to participate in the storytelling process. Make sure you have something to drum on and get ready!
