The second workshop in the series will expand to wider West Africa – Guinea, with guest teachers Coumba Mbaye (Senegal) and Salif Camara (Guinea). This workshop will teach Sabar dance to the rhythm Dagan, using ladies styling from Coumba Mbaye, taught by me, Batch Gueye. Salif Camara will then teach traditional Guinean singing and dance to Soko rhythm. Live drumming with master drummers Dembis Thioung, Baye Ngom and Souleymane Compo.
