Only a few people in the world can take this level of musicianship and elevate it. Lady Wray is one such person. Her journey as Nicole Wray began as a fifteen-year-old in Virginia, who auditioned for Missy Elliot who signed her on the spot. Later, in 1998, she had a debut solo album and a single that smashed up radio and TV, quickly going gold.

Her new album, released on Brooklyn’s Big Crown Records, sonically showcases the dexterous range of Lady Wray’s voice and songwriting, leaning towards soul and RnB with tinges of hip-hop.
