‘Shes a baaaad mama jama! lighting licks and thunder thumbs…” Quincy Jones
An explosive stage presence isn’t enough to describe the way Nik West moves, grooves and shocks any crowds across the world. The former bass player for soul great, Prince, her diary is full when it comes to working with legends across the music industry. From John Mayer, Dave Stewart, Esperanza Spalding to Narada Michael Walden the list is endless of the stars she continues to inspire.
Growing up in a musical family creativity was always at the centre of West’s art. Picking up a variety of instruments throughout the years, her mean licks on the bass and soulful voice will leave anyone speechless when it’s showtime.
Buckle up and get yourself ready for the best musical rollercoaster this June with the funkadelic queen.
