Black History Month- Talks, Spoken Word, Jamaican Food

In honour of Black History Month 2021, Inspiring Women Network invites you to join us for an evening of inspiring talks with guest speakers Adele Jarrett-Kerr and Bryan Knight , spoken word by Adele Jarrett-Kerr, and a Jamaican dinner by OliveMae’s Kitchen.

 

The Speakers

Adele Jarrett-Kerr (she/her) is the director of Soulcraft Learning Community, an unschooling parent of three, a writer, a poet and the social impact lead at Soul Farm. She has a background in creating and supporting community projects that focus on personal wellbeing and social justice as well as rights-respecting activities for young people. Adele writes and speaks on the connection between colonisation and education, and hosts a podcast on community called Revillaging.

Bryan Knight is a London-based journalist , oral historian, and podcaster. He hosts the Tell A Friend podcast, discussing current affairs and historical topics.
