V&A Webinar Live – Designing the Diversity Coin with Designer, Dominique Evans

Tuesday 20 June

How do you design an emblem to celebrate diversity in Britain today? What if this emblem was a coin which needed to easily be understood and exchanged by everyone? This live webinar for KS3-5, will allow students to hear from Dominique Evans, Designer at The Royal Mint, about her work on the Diversity coin and more.

Students will develop knowledge about how to communicate a message through their designs, explore creative career pathways and connect to design ideas around diversity. The webinar will also feature a Q&A with the designer.

This event is connecting to a wider programme marking the 75th anniversary of the arrival of HMT Empire Windrush in Britain on 22 June 1948.

Please book using your school email address. Once booked, you will receive an automated email to confirm that we have received your booking. You will receive an email via V&A Schools Zoom with your joining link and any supporting information, including materials and equipment required at least 1 day before the event. If you have any queries, please get in touch on schools@vam.ac.uk
