From Kenya to Lambeth – Singing Children of Africa

Sat 1 October, 1pm to 5pm.

Kicking off Black History Month, the Singing Children of Africa (SCA) have returned to the UK on a national tour. They will play three concerts in London and we are delighted to announce that one will be in Lambeth. The choir of 22 children from 9 to 14 years are making a welcome return to London after eight years. The monies raised from the tour will be used to build a new classroom and meeting place for the local community back in Kenya. Derek Hunter, the London organiser says “the children put on a marvellous concert of singing and dancing and have won over the hearts of audiences up and down the country. We are excited that we have extended the tour to Lambeth. It will be a great community event”.

Tickets: Adults £5, children and concessions, £3.
