Southbank Sinfonia Family Concert

Sat 5 October 2019

Dive in to some of classical music’s greatest stories in a concert for children aged five to 11, featuring a chance to meet the musicians.

Classical music is full of stories – and every story has a beginning.

With the first notes of great symphonies, or the first time someone picks up an instrument, the course of history can be changed forever and an incredible adventure embarked on.

Join 33 young musicians as they kick-start some of classical music’s greatest creations and share their own exciting journeys to the stage.

Southbank Sinfonia family concerts bring together live musical performance, film and theatrical lighting, immersing children and adults alike in an inspiring orchestral world.

After the concert you can meet the musicians and try out their instruments.
