Tessa McWatt – Higher Ed

Monday 17 October, 6.45pm

Meet Tessa McWatt to discuss her latest novel Higher Ed, which brings the traditional campus novel bang up to date. Her writing injects a welcome dose of diversity into a tale about universals: love, loneliness and the search for belonging; it is the multi-voiced immigrant saga set in London’s gritty fringes. Tessa was born in Guyana, grew up in Canada, and has been living and working in London for nearly two decades. This event is organised in association with The Friends of Durning Library, refreshments will be available for a £2 donation.
