Celebration Of Black Female Voices – “I Am Somebody” – Poetry Competition

You are invited to join us to hear readings of some of the poems written for the ‘Celebration of Black Female Voice – I Am Somebody’, poetry competition.

 

The theme for the competition is ‘The Black Female Experience – ‘I Am Somebody’.  Winners of the competition will receive their prize at the event.  Attendees at the event will also be given the opportunity to read their own poems.  Come along and support.  Let’s celebrate the poetic talent of the women of Leicester.
