“Power to the People…Then and Now” Hosted by CISJ
This Centre for Identities and Social Justice (CISJ) event will feature guest speakers Lorna Cole and Hurley Armstrong who were active in the Black British Panther movement. Lorna is active in supplementary schooling and will talk about the impact of changemakers in giving a voice. Hurley will talk about the journey from the British Black power movement and reflect on where we are now.
This event will be held in the Ian Gulland Lecture Theatre.
