Join us on Thursday 28th October at 4:30 for an exciting conversation with technology pioneer Gloria Kimbawala about her inspiring journey within the tech industry so far and her insights on how more accessible opportunities can be created for diverse individuals within the tech industry.
From establishing an empowerment network to closely working with Twitter CEO, Jack Dorsey, Gloria has dedicated the last 15 years of her career to creating an inclusive culture in technology around the globe and it is her belief that the best innovation happens when people can be their most authentic self, bringing their unique perspective to technology.
Our theme for this Black History Month is #BeTheSpark, which refers to our belief that it is within everyone’s power to be the spark that ignites change; illuminates diversity; elevates inclusion.
We’ll be discussing the personal motivations behind Gloria’s trailblazing journey within an industry popularly known to be lacking opportunity for under-represented groups, hearing her thoughts on the power technology has in supporting those from under-served communities worldwide, and the opportunities we’re missing by not having a diverse and inclusive workforce in tech.
It is our hope that every attendee ends the session feeling empowered to be the sparks we need to inspire sustainable change for inclusion.
