This is a special gig! Three of the original members of the Average White Band, singer/guitarist Hamish Stuart, saxophonist Molly Duncan and drummer Steve Ferrone getting back together again with a band to die for.

To set the scene we must go back a little over 40 years. A group of young Scottish musicians are out in LA looking for a record deal when they approach Jerry Wexler from Atlantic Records, who loves the material he hears and signs them on the spot. They record part of the album in Miami and the rest in New York and in 1974 the eponymous “Average White Band” album is released. And a legendary band is born. By 1975 Steve Ferrone was on drums, “AWB” had gone Gold and the rest, as they say, is history.
