Celebrating The Queens Award for Voluntary Service, and the launch of Hawa ladies night, Giving WIT the tools to continue its work.

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to Women’s Inclusive Team’s Monthly Charity Dinner named ‘Hawa’s Ladies Night’ for a spectacular evening of amazing food and entertainment (live Somali Signing and Dancing). As a non for-profit charity organisation, we are organising a ladies only charity event on 30th June 2021 at 7pm to raise money to sustain our community Kitchen, which will enable us to support those most in need within our community.

We are inviting friends and professionals from across London to support us by attending and sharing this event with their networks, The funds raised from the tickets, will cover the basic cost of the community KitchenSo as well as tasting delicious East African Somali Cuisine and enjoying a full and entertaining evening, you will support WIT to continue supporting those in need, last year we have served over 28000 meals/food parcels.

Women’s Inclusive Team was founded in 2004 and has since supported hundreds of families and individuals, in particular Black and ethnic minority communities, in Tower Hamlets through youth programmes, Early Years and women’s projects, wellbeing support as well as WIT’s covid crisis initiative of the in-house food bank and community kitchen. Since opening the hot meals kitchen and food bank centre in the first lockdown, we have been shown that there is a great need for such service’s. As we are all aware covid has had a disproportionate negative impact on Black, Ethnic minority, low-income, and isolated members of our community.And so to conclude we would like to ask you all to please support, spread the word and make this a service like no other as to better people’s lives.This is a cause committed to those in need within our community in motivating them by providing them tools needed to support them and so for this reason we appeal to you, to gather up your friends to assist us with our endeavours.Your attendance is your donation.
