Power of Voice: Celebrating International Women’s Month

Thursday 10 March, 7.00pm-9.00pm

Future Dialogues

Join us for an intergenerational dialogue about what it means to be a Black woman in the 21st century.  Our archive speaks volumes about inspiring Black women, movements, and campaigns that have paved the way for future generations, but who are the leaders that are inspiring change today? What are the issues that we face as Black women, and how can we empower ourselves to overcome them?

We will be joined by a panel of inspiring women leading change in our community; Linda Bellos OBE former Leader of Lambeth Council, gay rights activist and equality law specialist; Jade Jackson writer and member of Women for Refugee Women and Liv Little editor-in-chief for Gal-dem online magazine. The talk will be followed by an audience Q&A opportunity.
