Join Benjamin Zephaniah, Ayshah Johnston and Kieran Yates for this Living Knowledge Network streamed event
Join us at Cambridge Central Library (3rd floor) on Saturday 23 October for this streamed discussion between Benjamin Zephaniah, Ayshah Johnston and Kieran Yates.
The event looks at the stories and experiences of children who came to the UK from the Caribbean as part of the post-war immigration boom, and those who were left behind, joining their parents in their new life later on.
In this event Benjamin Zephaniah will be in conversation with Black Cultural Archives Learning and Engagement Manager Ayshah Johnston, chaired by journalist and broadcaster Kieran Yates, to further explore the themes in his book, Windrush Child, and the legacy and struggles of this unique community.
All attendees are encouraged to wear a facemask/covering for the event, unless medically exempt.
