Chatterbooks Week

Saturday 11th October till Saturday 18th October 2015

Chatterbooks Week is running from 11 to 18 October. A celebration of Chatterbooks children’s reading groups and the fun of reading. It’s the perfect time for schools, libraries and individuals across the UK to introduce children to the pleasure of reading and sharing books by taking part in Chatterbooks activity, or setting up a Chatterbooks group.

Chatterbooks reading groups are for children aged 4 to 12, where they can have a great time talking about books. For more information please contact your local library or visit www.chatterbooks.org.uk

‘Reading for pleasure is more important to a child’s educational achievement than their family’s wealth or social class’.
