For Black History Month there is an exhibition commemorating the Royal West African Frontier Force in World War 2. Additional complementing displays in the Family History Centre will also be installed throughout the month by Sutton Archives.

 

This exhibition is produced by Learning Through the Arts and has been funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. An additional event is planned by Learning Through the Arts for the 13th November. This will be a guided talk through the exhibition plus further information about the wider role of the RWAFF during World War 2. Please check their website for details.
