City Year UK Psychology Talk

Thu 16 February 2017 13:00 – 14:00

The City Year UK Leadership Development Programme challenges 18-25 year olds to tackle educational inequality through a year of full-time voluntary service in schools. As well as having a huge impact on children’s lives, it’s a chance for you to develop leadership skills and invest in your own future. It’s also a year to push yourself outside of your comfort zone and develop the skills to become a self-confident leader with the skills, passion and values to stand out from the crowd. This year we are providing mentoring and financial support to 135 young people serving in 19 schools in three cities. Next year, could this be you?
Come along to the City Year UK talk at 1pm on Thursday 16th February to find out more about how you can transform the lives of children as well as your own. We will cover why we do what we do, the practicalities of how we do it as well as what’s in it for you.
