Thank You For the Rain – In person film screening and discussion

Wednesday 3 November 2021

A Kenyan farmer captures the impact of climate change on his family and his village, and takes his story to the global stage.

Welcome back to St Mary’s!

Thank You For The Rain is the story of Kisilu, a Kenyan farmer, who started to use his camera to capture the life of his family, his village and the damages of climate change. When a violent storm threw him and a Norwegian filmmaker together we see him transformed from a father, to community leader to an activist on the global stage.

We are thrilled to once again hold in person screenings, and take the opportunity to raise awareness of climate change and the importance of COP26 taking place in Glasgow.
