Historical epic inspired by true events that took place in the Kingdom of Dahomey, one of the most powerful states of Africa in the 18th and 19th centuries.

Because of the high mortality rate of men within the Kingdom and constant warring with other West African states and the slave trade, women were recruited into the military, eventually taking it over entirely.
