The Macpherson Report: What’s its impact20 year on?

Just over twenty years ago, 24th Feb 1999 the Macpherson report, the public inquiry into Mr Stephen Lawrence’s murder was released. While it focused on the practice on the police and viewed some of them as ‘institutional racism’, it also questioned racism in wider society. So what has been its impact 20 years on? To discuss this question, we will hear from key individuals from the black community in the areas of education, health, employment, public section and the criminal justice system.
