Radical Roots: Researching Rebels in your Family History

A day of talks and workshops on researching freedom fighting rebels and troublemakers in your family history. Tower Hamlets Local History Library & Archives is pleased to welcome Paul Crooks, Afro-Caribbean family historian and author of ‘A Tree without Roots – The Guide to Tracing British, African, and Asian Caribbean Ancestry’ and ‘Ancestors’, as well as Sam Jonson, Great Grand Daughter of match girl Sarah Chapman. Other sessions will range from a beginner’s guide to family history, preserving your family photos and documents, to writing and publishing your research!
