DJ sister duo sanasesh & rishy malik bring an eclectic sound; from Afro tech/ house, bailie funk, amapiano and south asian music. Djing has led them to curate their own electronic night under the name Faem e li, the first being sold out and supported by Adidas for international womens day.
The sister duo has showcased themselves for guest mixes on nationwide radio stations such as BBC 1XTRA, Rinse FM, Balamii and Reprezent radio. Collaborating with the likes of Keep Hush, AZEEMA mag, brainchild and more. The duo create a spirtiual yet unforgettable experience on the dance floor.
Habibi Collective is an open-access resource for women’s filmmaking from south-west Asia and North Africa, digitally archived on Instagram. With a bank of over 500 films from women filmmakers in the MENA region and diaspora, the Collective regularly screens films with speciality in moving-image and essay film. Creating a space for female MENA filmmaking where there previously was none, Habibi Collective quickly grew into an international community now with over 24k followers.
