Karol Conká

Wednesday 21st September

Flying the flag for the alternative sounds of hip-hop in Brazil, Karol’s unmistakable cadence when rapping to a head-rocking beat is followed by a wave of lush r&b chord progressions and traditional percussions from her hometown.

Releasing her fourth project ‘Urucum’ her rodeo tales transport you on a journey like no other. Based upon the lessons she learnt from her time on the hit show Big Brother a trail of anger, resilience and patience shines through her project and is echoed in the enchanting production by RDD (Rafa Dias), a member of the Bahian group ÀTTØØXXÁ.

An artist to be put in any fan of hip-hop, trap or baile funk’s diary; rest assured to feel the love of gritty Brazilian rap mixed with the love of stylish pop.
