Annette Walker’s Tap Dance

These weekly sessions combine exercises for musical and technical skill of tap dance with reference to its historical African-American jazz roots. Learn classic repertoire passed down by past and present practitioners and how to blend dance and music.

Learn and build your tap dance skills with a foundation in musicianship to understand the rhythm, phrasing and structure of percussive music made with your feet. Develop good coordination, balance and technique. Build physical and mental stamina and endurance. And most importantly have fun learning!
