Minstrels
Tuesday 27th and Wednesday 28th October 2015
The show explores character Blackman’s identity and he tries to understand how others perceive him and how he perceives himself.
The audience is taken on a journey through skin bleaching, tanning, golliwogs and blackface minstrels shows. I have performed the show with arts venues such as Vogue Fabrics, The Hat Factory, Limewharf, Rivington Place, The Royal Vauxhall Tavern, The Glory and Southbank and I was also on London Live last week bring interviewed about the show.
