CJO November Windrush Social

Thursday 23 November

The Claudia Jones Organisation is presenting their showing of a historical and educational documentary made with the aim of cementing the oral history of Traditional Mas.

The documentary has 2 segments, and on this day we are showing Part one: comprising of 5 interviews from 1st and 2nd generations of the Windrush Era. The eldest contributor at the time of production was 90 years young!

A must see documentary steeped in historical recollections.

This documentary is in memory of Mrs Byer who sadly transitioned before its completion and her family who allowed for her interview to remain.
